Science, Technology, Engineering, Math & Money Management

STEMMM is an Awareness and Workforce Development program that showcases the innovations of various industries and their impact on our lives. It helps youth become more knowledgeable about their futures by focusing on three key areas: the Education intended to guide them, the Legislation that impacts them, and the Occupation they will one day be working in. The goal of STEMMM is to prepare students for their future paths, whether they plan to pursue higher education or enter the workforce after high school, because EVERYTHING IS STEMMM!

SCIENCE

Science is the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world. This includes (but is not limited to) objective observation, experimentation and data collection.

TECHNOLOGY

Technology is the application of scientific knowledge. The ideas and information acquired through scientific study that can be used to design, create or build anything or to complete a task.

ENGINEERING

Engineering is designing, creating or building anything based on scientific study and technological ideas and information.

MATH

Math is the science of numbers and their operations. Experiments, which may include (but are not limited to) the measurements of time, distance, weight or speed, uses math to help us solve problems. Math also helps us to better understand science and technology to design, create, build and complete tasks.

MONEY MANAGEMENT

The process of handling money, including budgeting, saving, investing spending and planning. Projects need funding to be completed to pay for materials, labor and various other resources.
