One of the biggest life altering events that a person ever goes through is becoming an adult.  When a person turns 18 they are legally responsible for their actions and behavior, which means they are now accountable for themselves.  Without an awareness of what becoming an adult means, this transition can have life altering effects on the lives of these new adults.  The District takes a look at how students are preparing for this transition within the 33rd, 43rd and 44th congressional districts of Los Angeles County.
